And, I simply refuse to watch that version again. However, I am still disgusted with the 20th anniversary rerelease, with new scenes & all of the "politically correct" editing that was done to that release. And hopefully even more before I shuffle off this mortal coil. And as of, I have actually grabbed hold of everything Sir John Williams.Īnd, to date, I have nearly 400 viewings of E.T. But, it didn't take me long to begin collecting any & everything he'd ever written and/or recorded. ![]() And, although I did know who Sir John Williams was, had never purchased a movie soundtrack before E.T. soundtrack twice, and was on the verge of doing the same with my 3rd copy. Between time was spent absorbing one of the greatest movie soundtracks I have ever heard, and still believe that 38 years later! By the time my senior year of high school began, I had purchased & wore out the E.T. ![]() I was instantly hooked, and spent my entire summer at that theater, watching E.T. In 1982, I sat front row center for the very first showing of E.T. ![]()
